A local auto mechanic is accused of leaving an envelope of child pornography images inside of a customer's car, after taking it for a test drive.
Devin Husk, 19, is facing 10 counts of possession of child porn. He made his first court appearance Tuesday.
Deputies say this all began when Husk responded to a post on Craigslist by a woman looking for a mechanic. He told her he'd fix her car up if she drove it over to his house on Washougal River Road.
That woman brought her friend along with her as a precaution, that friend spoke with FOX 12, but asked to remain anonymous.
"I just got a really weird vibe from him, it was a place where you go and you just feel like something's not right," said the woman.
The woman tells FOX 12 when Husk took her friend's car out for a test drive, he left behind a yellow envelope in the backseat. They didn't notice it was there until they started driving home from his house.
"My friend, she opened it and pulled out all of these pictures of young girls and boys and they were naked, I couldn't believe it. His resume was on top of the pictures, so we knew it was his," she said.
Deputies say the envelope contained more than 100 images which depicted child sex abuse, most victims were girls under the age of 10. Court documents show those images were mixed in with Husk's resume, two letters, handwritten notes, a list of sexually titled websites and two erotic stories.
"I just sat there and cried, I have two little grand babies, it was so horrible," said the woman.
Husk was later taken into custody, he's being held on $25,000 bond. His next court appearance is Sept. 9 at 9 a.m.
No one from his family home wanted to talk about the allegations.
