Amherst police search for missing woman

Amherst police are asking for the public's assistance in locating 26-year-old Marissa L. Jackson.

According to Amherst police Lt. Ronald Young, Jackson was last seen walking nearby her Belchertown Road apartment in Amherst about 10:30 p.m. Friday.

Jackson is described as a 5'8" tall Caucasian female who has brown hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a white tank top, blue capri jeans and white shoes with rainbow laces, Young said.

Anyone with information regarding Jackson's whereabouts is asked to call the Amherst Police Department at 413-259-3000, or 413-259-3015.
