A woman with a suspended driver's license drove over traffic cones and into a work zone on Interstate 95 southbound before crashing into a state police cruiser parked in the breakdown lane on Tuesday afternoon.

Sergeant Joseph Corbett was on traffic detail near exit 16A at about 12:40 p.m. when 49-year-old Pamela Dambra, of Framingham, struck a Ford Crown Victoria he was in, according to state police officials.

Dambra was driving a 2003 Mercury Sable. She was issued a summons for operating a motor vehicle with a suspended driver's license, failure to inspect motor vehicle and marked lanes violation.

MassDOT crews and the Dedham Fire Department responded to the accident in addition to state police.

Both Corbett and Dambra were taken to Norwood Hospital with minor injuries.
