Suburbs south of Buffalo are expected to receive three to six feet of snow in a four day period from lake-effect snow squalls coming off of Lake Erie.
Watch this amazing time-lapse video as warming air rises off of Lake Erie. As soon as the air rises it quickly condenses into snow squall clouds that are capable of dumping three to six inches of snow in a single hour.
