A credit union in Agawam was robbed at gunpoint on Tuesday morning.

Agawam Police Chief Eric Gillis confirmed that the Holyoke Credit Union at 4 Washington Ave. was robbed at about 11:10 a.m.

A white male entered the credit union wearing dark clothing and a ski mask. He jumped the counter while holding a handgun and took and unknown amount of money from a drawer. 

The suspect then jumped back over the counter and the the scene on foot. 

No one was injured in the robbery.

A state police K-9 was called in to assist in the investigation.
