Police: Detectives arrest thieves who burglarized Chicopee church

Chicopee police have arrested two suspects who they say are responsible for a church burglary that occurred this summer.

The St. Rose De Lima Church on Grattan Street was broken into on August 27 and several religious items, including a chalice, were stolen, police said.

Chicopee police detectives investigated the case and made two arrests on Monday.

Police charged Molly Kwiatkowski, 18, of Chicopee, and Dominic Giordano, 20, of Holyoke with breaking and entering at night with intent to commit a felony and larceny from a building, according to Chicopee police officials.
