Police responded to a home on Warner Road on Tuesday morning after receiving reports of a missing 16-year-old girl.

Massachusetts state police air wing and K-9 units assisted Belchertown police in locating a missing teen in a wooded area on Tuesday.
State police in Belchertown say they were called to the Warner Road area at about 8:30 a.m.
Troopers searched for the 16-year-old girl in the air from a helicopter and on the ground near the Quabbin Reservoir area.
Police say the girl went for a walk in the woods at about 7 a.m., but never returned home. Police did not suspect any suspicious activity and they say the missing teen was dressed appropriate for the weather.
