Man arrested for trafficking oxycodone in Sturbridge

STURBRIDGE, MA (WSHM) - Massachusetts State Police arrested a man for trafficking oxycodone during the snow storm on Monday.

Police stopped a 2006 Acura on I-84 in Sturbridge for speeding during the snowstorm, having a covered license plate and weaving from lane to lane.

After investigation, police uncovered 1,249 pills of Oxycodone in the vehicle.

State Police from the Sturbridge barracks arrested 28-year-old Amaury Pena of New York.

Pena is charged with trafficking in a class ‘A' narcotic, speeding, obscured license plate and a marked lanes violation.

Pena was held on $50,000 bail pending arraignment at Dudley District Court.
