Holyoke police arrest man; charged with trafficking cocaine

HOLYOKE, MA (WSHM) - Holyoke police arrested a man following a motor vehicle stop who had 35 grams of cocaine on his possession.

Holyoke police said in a release sent to CBS 3, Javier Rivera, 46, of Holyoke was stopped on Friday, February 13 around 2:30 p.m. for a motor vehicle violation at the corner of Main and Spring Streets.

Detectives seized 35 grams of cocaine and cash from Rivera.

Rivera was charged with trafficking cocaine (18-36 grams) and failing to use a turn signal.

Javier Rivera will be arraigned in Holyoke District Court on Tuesday.
