Snow showers turn to partial clearing Tuesday afternoon

Posted: Updated:

As a winter storm slides out to sea from the mid-Atlantic, we can expect morning snow showers and flurries to depart allowing for partial clearing on Tuesday afternoon.

High pressure nudges in Tuesday night and Wednesday, but moves out to make way for the next system.

A low pressure area swings through the Quebec province of Canada Wednesday night. This will bring some Berkshire snow showers with flurries in the pioneer valley. It will deliver a cold front that will reinforce the arctic chill starting Thursday.

Expect wind chill near 0 Thursday and overnight lows continuing below zero into Friday.

Saturday is our next chance for some light snow, but no big storms look to be brewing this week.
