Multiple departments work to arrest South Hadley bank robbery suspect

WILBRAHAM, MA (WSHM) - Multiple police departments worked together to arrest a man they say robbed Easthampton Savings Bank in South Hadley on Wednesday.

Wilbraham Police Captain Tim Kane tells CBS 3 Taylor Dziczek, 33, of Chicopee was placed under arrest when police found the suspect in his vehicle after it ran out of gas early this morning on Boston Road near Cottage Avenue in Wilbraham.

An off-duty Holyoke officer observed the suspect running from the bank on Wednesday and took down the license plate of a vehicle used to flee the scene at 605 Granby Road.

Around 2 a.m. on Thursday, an off-duty dispatcher of the South Hadley department noticed the vehicle in Wilbraham and contacted the local police department.

Dziczek is being charged with unarmed robbery and larceny over $250. He is currently in custody with South Hadley police department.
