WILBRAHAM, MA (WSHM) - After months of conducting a search process that began with over 40 applications, the Wilbraham Board of Selectmen announced the appointment of a new town administrator.

Selectman Robert Russell announced Nick Breault, current town administrator in East Longmeadow will be offered the position in Wilbraham.

The search process was conducted by a committee appointed by the Board of Selectmen.

"I think it's the 10 years he has in East Longmeadow,” Wilbraham Town Clerk Beverly Litchfield said.
“East Longmeadow is quite like our own community and he's very well-versed in town meeting which they happen to have the town meeting format also.”

Litchfield was heavily involved in the committee.

“I think he comes with a lot of experience," she said.

The position was vacated in November by Robert Weitz, who retired after serving as town administrator for seven years.
