PALMER, MA (WSHM) -

Two train cars have come off the tracks in Palmer.

Police tell CBS 3 the cars slightly derailed around 6:00 p.m. Wednesday in the area of North Main and Sykes Streets.

Specialty cranes have been called in to upright the train. Palmer police point out the process could take a couple of days.

On board were plastic pellets which are melted down to make products.

Police say there is no hazardous threat to the public.

No injuries were reported.
