After a rude awaking early Tuesday morning from a pre-dawn deluge with lots of thunder and lightning, our sleep will be more restful overnight tonight.
However, a strong cold front will approach during the day Wednesday and bring with it a good chance for some afternoon and early evening downpours this time around.
Once again some of the heavier showers could have some thunder and lightning, gusty winds and even some small hail. Organized severe weather is not expected though.
The best chance for the heavier showers will be in the mid-afternoon to early evening hours or just in time for the commute home Wednesday.
Watch for some localized minor flash flooding in the typical areas of poor drainage. Behind the front it turns blustery and sharply colder with sun then clouds and a few afternoon sprinkles Thursday and Friday.
Highs both days stay near 50 degrees – more like mid-March!
