LONGMEADOW, MA (WGGB/WSHM) -

An 11-year-old boy is reported missing after not showing up for school Monday, but now, there's news that he has been found.

It's a happy ending to this search and much relief for this boy's family. He is expected to be brought back to the police station shortly.

The boy, who is only being identified by his first name Martin, is said to be doing just fine. He was riding his bicycle this morning when he went missing after he was supposed to be heading to the Wolf Swamp Road School around 8:15 a.m. Monday, but he never showed up for class.

It wasn't until after 3 p.m. Monday when Longmeadow Police received a tip from a woman in Enfield, CT saying she saw a bicycle resembling that of Martin's bike.

The mall and Enfield Police were contacted and after searching the premises, officials found Martin near a game store.

It was an approximately 3.7 mile ride for Martin to go from his house to the mall.

Police are expecting the boy to be reunited with his family here at the police department later today,
