SPRINGFIELD, MA (WGGB/WSHM) -
It's a fantastic afternoon with full sunshine and nice comfortable temperatures. It's May weather at it's finest! Temperatures will top off near 70. Get out and enjoy it, if you can.
With clear skies, light winds and a dry air mass in place temperatures will fall quickly once the sun goes down. Some scattered frost is possible overnight. A Frost Advisory remains in effect for Hampshire, Franklin and Berkshire Counties late tonight into early tomorrow morning.
Tomorrow will be another nice spring day. Clouds will be on the increase during the afternoon but things will stay dry and temperatures will be back into the 70s, after that cool start.
The clouds will thicken up Friday night as a warm front lifts through. Showers will develop overnight and will last into Saturday morning. The showers will be scattered in nature and will give way to some sunshine by Saturday afternoon. It will be a bit muggy on Saturday and we could see a couple of more showers late in the day. Most of the day will be dry.
An area of high pressure may nose into the area on Sunday so we should see increasing amounts of sunshine with warm dry conditions.
