FIRST WARNING

Weekend should be mostly dry and warmer

Posted: Updated:
SPRINGFIELD, MA (WGGB/WSHM) - Clouds will thicken up tonight as a warm front lifts through.  Showers, a few downpours and even a rumble of thunder arrive after midnight and last into early Saturday morning.

After the morning showers end, clouds and some fog give way to some sunshine by Saturday afternoon.  Most of the mid-day and afternoon will be dry with temperatures pushing into the middle and upper 70s.

Watch out for an additional shower or thundershower from late afternoon to mid-evening then clouds will gradually clear overnight into Sunday morning.

Sunday will be the easy pick of the weekend. With early clouds giving way to sunny skies, temperatures soar up into the 80s for highs!
