SPRINGFIELD, MA (WGGB/WSHM) -
High and mid level clouds will continue to fan across our skies dimming the sun from time to time. However it will remain bright and this afternoon will be warmer than yesterday afternoon with temperatures reaching near 70. The winds will be lighter too.
It won't be as chilly tonight with some clouds around. A storm will passes out-to-sea bringing with it a few showers to Rhode Island and southeastern Mass.
Sun mixes with clouds tomorrow with a few sprinkles or showers possible as a front crosses late. Behind the front it gets blustery and chilly again late Friday into the overnight.
As winds become light late at night, near record cold and some frost is possible early Saturday. The record low for Saturday morning is 34 degrees set in 1971! The rest of the day looks breezy and cool but with near 100% sunshine!
The dry weather will continue on Sunday with temperatures moderating well up into the 70s. But showers are likely for Memorial Day. It's not going to be a washout just not quite as nice as Saturday and Sunday.
