The two local businesses, nearly 50 years old were left in ruins after a fire tore through Saturday night.
Owners Gary and Joyce Bellucci are left to pick up the pieces.
"They've always been there for us. I've been here for 11 years now living in the Boston Street area. They've been here forever. I remember coming here as a little kid," said Rodriguez.
The call came in to the Springfield Fire Department around 7.
Responders originally believed they were be dealing with a brush fire, but upon arrival firefighters realized it was the building on fire. So, they immediately called for backup.
Four people inside were rescued and there were no injuries reported.
But the tenants and businesses must find a new home. The building is a complete loss.
Rodriguez wears his leather jacket for the Latin American Motorcycle Association. They were made at Monica Lee Leathers for the entire motorcycle club.
He says the community will support the Bellucci's local business until they're back up and running.
"Hopefully they will rebuild and come back because who else would do the work for us," said Rodriguez.
Gary and Joyce say they will take it one step at a time.
