LONGMEADOW, MA (WGGB/WSHM) -

Two lanes of Interstate 91 northbound in Longmeadow were closed due to a rollover accident with injuries Wednesday night.

State police Sgt. Tom Ryan told Western Mass News that the drivers of both vehicles were transported to the hospital with injuries.

A 31-year-old Wilbraham man driving a 2014 Chevrolet Malibu rear ended a 2005 Ford F-150 being driven by a 51-year-old Agawam man, causing the pickup truck to rollover several times, Ryan said.

The accident was reported at about 8 p.m. near mile marker two prior to the Longmeadow curve. State police reopened all lanes of the highway just before 9 p.m.

Western Mass News will provide updates on this story as more information is made available.
