"Just today we've had 12 calls," said private investigator Sarah Stein.
One day after Western Mass News aired the story about the family of Molly Bish's newest effort to find her killer, new information and inspiring new leads came pouring in to Stein.
"We actually had a fifth witness come forward and identify that individual as having that white vehicle."
The white vehicle in question that's behind the 'Just One Car' campaign is a 1986 Buick Lesabre. Sarah and the Bish's believe if they can find the person of interest's former car they can make a link.
Friday, a fifth witness independently confirmed details about the newest person of interest.
"It was someone who was known to the campground, the old sawmill campground in West Brookfield, and remembered seeing that gentleman as well as his father with that white vehicle," Stein said.
She can't reveal the new person of interest's name. Other witnesses have said he lived not far from where Molly was taken from Comins Pond in Warren and also went missing for a day about the same time she did. Stein says he's had run-ins with the law.
"He is a very violent individual."
This all happened on the same day that Boston ABC affiliate WCVB reports that Worcester County District Attorney's office investigators are ordering a new round of DNA testing.
"There's more evidence being sent to the lab for testing in Molly's case," Stein said.
She is hoping these promising new leads bring peace to the family she's been working with for 13 years.
"I hope this is going to be the year we can give them that piece of information they need to solve Molly's case."
Stein and the bish's will be at the Sturbridge Host Hotel June 27, the 15th anniversary of Molly's disappearance, taking information.
