Some rare, comfortable July air arrives

Posted: Updated:

Look for drier air to slowly seep in overnight as skies start to clear.

Between the clouds, watch for the full "buck" moon rising in the east this evening and the beautiful Jupiter/Venus conjunction in the west!

Thursday will be a dry, relatively comfortable day with a mix of sunshine and clouds above. Dew points will spend most of the day in the 50s - much less muggy than Wednesday.

High pressure continues to build in for Friday and stays the entire weekend! Humidity levels come down even more Friday under mostly sunny skies.

In fact, with this "rarified air" for early July in place, lows Friday and Saturday morning could reach the upper 40s in spots - so campers may need the warm sleeping bag and camp fires at night!

But it's great boating, beach and BBQ weather all three days Friday through Sunday under partly to mostly sunny skies. The evenings will be quite comfortable for all the local fireworks displays - just don't forget the bug spray!
