This afternoon will feature lots of clouds, a bit of sun and a few scattered showers and thunderstorms. Temperatures will reach into the 80s with dew points up near 70!
We are not expecting any severe weather today however a storm or two could produce some isolated flash flooding and gusty winds.
The National Weather Service has issued a severe thunderstorm warning for eastern Franklin County until 5:45 p.m.
Things will stay warm and humid tomorrow too with a few more scattered showers and storms. A slow moving cold front will move through the area tomorrow evening then stall to our south on Thursday. This means it will turn less humid but the clouds will stick around with the chance of a couple of showers.
We should dry out for Friday and the weekend with sunny skies and warm temperatures. So far so good for the weekend!
