After a tropical Tuesday, thankfully our horrible humidity levels have been given the boot and sent southward again!
A cool front crossed around mid-day Wednesday allowing for more tolerable humidity levels to push in behind it.
With mostly clear conditions overnight, temperatures cool into the 50s and lower 60s, making it much more comfortable.
On Thursday, a compact but rather wet weather system will approach from the west and then move just to our south overnight. An area of rain will push in late in the day or early evening and will continue into the overnight hours before ending.
Rain could turn moderate to heavy for a time during the late evening hours. Rainfall estimates are coming in at nearly an inch south to less than ¼” north.
Certainly areas along and south of the Pike should expect a damp evening and overnight Thursday!
