AGAWAM, MA (WGGB/WSHM) -

There was a sea of support at Sunday night's baseball game in Agawam.

Players wore orange T-shirts to benefit Antonio Bruno. The 17-year-old is recovering after falling into an abandoned rock quarry in Southwick.

The money raised will go towards helping the family pay for their medical bills.

Head coach Bryan Regnier says he's coached Antonio for 10 years. The team wanted to do something special for him.

"The kids are handling it the best they can. At this age, they're very emotional about things and when something happens to a kid their age, kids react to it differently," said Regnier.

Antonio is currently being treated in Boston. Today was his first day of rehab.

"We really appreciate the turnout from the people. It's quite a tribute. I can't say enough about the people of Agawam and their support," said his grandfather Bob Lloyd.

Lloyd says the Antonio's spirit is "up".
