Very muggy conditions with some passing downpours - some with thunder and lightning - will continue at times through late Wednesday.
The best chance for brief torrential rain will be this afternoon and again around mid-day (mid-morning to mid-afternoon) Wednesday as a cold front slowly crosses.
Some enhancement to the rainfall is possible Wednesday as a wave of low pressure tracks west-east along the front as it sags south. Because the front will be a slow-mover, flash flooding in spots is possible tomorrow.
The usual urban areas with poor-drainage and low-lying areas will be at highest risk.
We do get to hit the "refresh" button tomorrow night. Much less humid air gradually seeps in overnight and makes it quite comfortable around here by dawn Thursday. Thursday and Friday will both be spectacular summer days with warm sunshine but dry levels of humidity!
