After a chilly overnight with temperatures dropping down to near 50, Friday will be another very comfortable mid-summer day. Sunshine will mix with mostly high clouds as temperatures reach the lower and middle 80s. Dew points will stay in the 50s much of the time.
Over the weekend, it turns much more humid on Saturday behind a warm front that lifts through Friday night. As the front crosses overnight, a brief shower or downpour with thunder and lightning is possible. More scattered showers are possible during the day Saturday in the very muggy air as weak energy in the atmosphere passes through. Skies will average out mostly cloudy with some breaks of sun. Despite the threat for a few showers, most of the day ends up dry.
Behind the weather system on Sunday, the air turns a bit less muggy but makes up for it with heat. Under partly sunny skies, we should stay dry but readings soar up into the lower 90s!
