It was a cool and refreshing start. It felt a bit more like September instead of the middle of July! Temperatures started out in the 40s and lower 50s. We missed a record low by 2 degrees! (record low 46 - 1946 at Westover ARB)
We'll see plenty of sunshine this afternoon with just some high clouds mixing in with the sun adding to the beauty of another pleasant and comfortable day. Dew points will remain in the 50s. Get out and enjoy!!
It will become more humid overnight as a warm front pushes through western Mass. The front will bring a few late night showers and possibly a thunderstorm into tomorrow morning.
Any rain will end early giving way to some sunshine by midday, along with a very humid feel. With the build-up of humidity there is the chance of a couple of showers and thunderstorms during the second half of the afternoon and evening. A storm or two could be strong to severe with damaging winds and large hail. Sunday looks slightly less humid. However it will be hot with temperatures into the lower 90s! There's just the chance of an isolated storm on Sunday but most will stay dry. If we go over 90 it will be the first time this month!
Monday becomes humid again with showers and storms returning before drier air pushes in for mid-week.
