Somewhat drier air is pushing in this evening behind a front that moved through this afternoon, but not before temperatures topped 90 degrees.
It was only the third time we reached 90 this year at Westover and the first time in nearly a month. We may very well do it again Tuesday though.
After a quiet overnight with somewhat cooler and less muggy air in place, it starts to become more humid again Tuesday as another front approaches. Highs should top off in the lower 90s again before clouds arrive late. This front will bring significantly cooler and drier air in behind it for Wednesday and beyond as we see a pattern shift.
As the front crosses Tuesday evening, a few thunderstorms will rumble through. An isolated storm may be on the strong to severe side - especially north and west in our area.
Wednesday, Thursday and Friday will all feature comfortable nights and sunshine followed by afternoon clouds each day with a pop-up shower or two possible - especially Friday. Highs stay in the lower 80s though the period!
