The Appaloosa Association held their Yankee Color Classic Horse Show this weekend.
The breed is best known for its colorful spotted coat pattern.
The non profit has been in business since the 1960s.
"I think we all stay with this breed for so long because we love the horses, the Appaloosa family, they're really just really down to earth and family to us," said Susan Cormier, President and Secretary of the Western Mass Appalossa Association.
The event lasts until 11PM Sunday night.
The regional show is the second largest in the nation.
