BOSTON (AP) - Police are searching for a man and a woman after a Boston cab driver reported they used a Taser on him to steal his taxi, which later crashed into a utility pole.
The incident unfolded shortly before 3 a.m. Friday on Interstate 93 southbound in the Dorchester neighborhood.
The cabbie, who drives for V & A Cab Inc., told police he picked up the man and the woman in downtown Boston and they later began arguing in the taxi. When he pulled over, he said they used the Taser to forcibly take the vehicle.
A state trooper later spotted the taxi being driven erratically on Blue Hill Avenue before crashing into the pole.
Police say the suspects ran away from the crash and have yet to be located.
