SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WGGB/WSHM) - After a cool start once again this morning it looks like we will have a decent day to close out the weekend thank to an area of high pressure to our northwest.
Expect a mixture of sunshine and clouds this afternoon. As a weak, fast moving shortwave pushes through the region there is the slight chance for a scattered light shower however many areas will stay dry today and any showers will be on the light side. Highs today top out in the upper 70s and lower 80s.
Clouds will be on the increase on Monday and it will start to feel a bit more humid as the dew point will start to creep toward the upper 50s and lower 60s. Another warm day on tap for Monday with highs in the upper 70s and lower 80s.
Our next chance for any sort of significant shower and thunderstorm activity continues to be on Tuesday and some of that shower activity could linger into Wednesday.
