SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WGGB/WSHM) - We were able to close out the weekend on a high note with a mix of sun and clouds as well as warm and dry conditions. We have one more mostly dry day ahead before things get rather wet on Tuesday.
Another great night for sleeping is on the way tonight with partly cloudy skies. It will be a good night to open the windows once again as lows fall back into the mid and upper 50s.
Clouds will mix with sun once again on Monday afternoon and it will start to feel just a bit more humid as the dew point will start to creep toward the upper 50s and lower 60s. Another warm day on tap for Monday with highs in the upper 70s and lower 80s. There is the slight chance for a afternoon shower but just like Sunday I think most areas remain dry.
Tuesday will feature mostly cloudy skies as a cold front approaches the region. The front will touch off showers and thunderstorms, some of which could have some heavy rain. At this point it does not look like we are concerned about severe weather but we will keep an eye on it over the next 24-36 hours. It will be slightly cooler on Tuesday with highs in the mid 70s but also more humid as dew points rise into the mid to upper 60s
