We're off to a nice start to the workweek, this after a beautiful weekend! This afternoon will feature a mixture of sunshine and clouds with temperatures reaching into the lower 80s. You may notice it starting to get a bit more humid as dew points creep into the lower 60s. There may be a stray shower but overall things are looking fine.
As a warm front lifts through tonight the humidity will continue to build so a sticky feel will be in the air. Meanwhile and area of low pressure and a cold front will be sliding in our direction causing the clouds to thicken up and eventually bringing us some rainfall.
The rain will break out tomorrow morning and will be heavy at times. The heavy rain could lead to some minor flooding. There will be a embedded thunderstorms as well. It will be rather humid tomorrow too with highs in the lower 70s. The steady rain will wind down during the afternoon but there will be a few leftover showers and storms into the evening.
Things should dry out for the middle of the week as this area of low pressure and it's associated cold front sweep off shore.
