It will be warm and muggy this afternoon with highs in the low to mid 80s and dew points in the upper 60s.There may be a stray shower or isolated storm but most of the afternoon will be fine. It will remain mild and muggy overnight as we stay out ahead of a slow moving cold front. The southerly flow out ahead of the front will continue to drain in the moist, humid air.
The front will move through tomorrow and will bring scattered showers and storms. A few storms could be strong to severe with heavy rain and gusty winds tomorrow late morning through mid-afternoon, especially from I91 and points east. Temperatures tomorrow will top off in the lower 80s and dew points settle near 70. Showers and storms will end tomorrow evening and behind the front it will be much drier and more pleasant. In fact, the drier conditions will stick around for the remainder of the week with warm days and cool, comfortable nights.
