It was a nice, summer day again today with highs near 90 in the Pioneer Valley. Look for another quiet overnight except for the chance for more late night dense fog in the low spots, river valleys and lakeside locations. In fact, some ground fog in some of those grassy fields could develop well before midnight.
Thursday will remain very warm with high temperatures back into the upper 80s. It will be a bit more humid too as a cold front approaches.
The front will bring the chance of a couple of showers during the afternoon or early evening with even an isolated thundershower possible but we are not expecting severe weather. The front will also bring an end to the heat and humidity.
Friday will be noticeably cooler and less muggy with sunshine. The holiday weekend still shines on the weather maps with warm sunny days and cool overnights Saturday into Monday!
