The Three County fair is in its 198th season and takes place all weekend long.
"We're just looking for an adventure!" said Tina Pond from Holyoke.
Families from across Western Massachusetts made their way through the Three County Fair, a Northampton classic for 198 years.
"We love coming with the kids. We have a great time!" said Pond.
Pond says she's excited for the Demolition Derby.
"It's a tradition in our house! We do it almost every year."
There are goats, a pony, turtles and a baby lamb for kids to play with as well.
"It's not every day people say they got to pet a lamb, a prairie dog, and an armadillo," said Manda Gauthier from the Petting Zoo.
There's more to the fair than all the fun. Some events have a bigger message. One that's life saving for Alyssa Benedict.
Her father is raffling cars off for Shriner's hospital.
"She's been a patient since she was a year old. The hospital has never ever sent me a bill," said Ronald Benedict.
The Three County Fair continues through Labor Day.
Kids enter free all weekend.
