After record-breaking heat yesterday, we did it again today. Today's high of 95 was the hottest day this summer and shatters the old record high of 91 for this date set back in 1945. The prior high mark this summer season was 93 set just yesterday and back on July 29th.
Wednesday will be almost as hot as today with high temperatures near 90. If we go over 90 it would make for an official heat wave (three days in a row of 90+ degrees). It would end up being the first heat wave of the summer at Westover. The record high of 91 Wednesday could be tied or exceeded too for the third straight day as well.
