** A Flash Flood Watch is posted for Hampden, Hampshire and Franklin Counties until 6 AM Friday. **
A slow moving cold front and an area of low pressure bring showers or a period of rain and some thunder this evening into tonight. Some of the rain will be heavy and could lead to some minor street and poor drainage flooding. Rainfall amounts will range from 1-2" for most of us - putting a serious dent in our dry spell!
A few leftover over showers will linger into Friday morning but as the morning goes on things will dry out giving way to developing sunshine. It will be much less humid as well Friday so it will feel a lot more like September!
Saturday will start with sunshine however clouds will increase during the afternoon with a few showers possible by evening. Sunday is looking unsettled with showers or periods of rain once again. Temperatures over the weekend will top off in the 70s.
