This afternoon will feature mainly cloudy skies with the chance of a spot shower however most of the afternoon is looking dry and cool. If you like the warm temperatures don't worry they are going to make a comeback and will be with us for the rest of the week.
An upper level system will continue to swing through western Massachusetts this afternoon bringing in the clouds along with a spot shower. Today will be the coolest day of the week with temperatures struggling to reach 70. A fall feel will certainly be in the air.
This upper level system will move out later today, giving way to a huge dome of high pressure. We can expect sunny skies, warm, dry afternoons and cool comfortable nights starting tomorrow and last through most of the weekend. Day time highs will reach into the lower to middle 80s with nighttime lows near 50! Although high temperatures will average about 8-10 ten degrees above normal it will remain comfortable with low levels of humidity. Dew points will stay in the lower 50s.
The nice weather will likely last for the start of the Big E as well!
