SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WGGB/WSHM) - Get ready for a taste of fall around here as high pressure keeps us dry and seasonable for much of this week.
If you are going to be out and about this evening temperatures will begin to fall off quickly after sunset. Overall we will see skies will remain clear tonight and a chilly night is on the way as clear skies and light winds will allow for radiational cooling. Lows tonight will fall back into the mid to upper 30s in the outlying areas to around 40 here in the lower valley. There could be some patchy fog in the lower valley as well late tonight into early tomorrow morning.
After a chilly start tomorrow morning we will see temperatures rise into the upper 60s to around 70 under sunny skies. A few clouds will work in tomorrow night with lows dropping back into the low to mid 40s.
The rest week looks mainly dry with sunshine as that ridge of high pressure builds in. Day time highs will run mainly in the lower 70s and night time lows falling back into the mid 40s to around 50.
