SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WGGB/WSHM) - If you were not able to take advantage of the splendid early fall afternoon today you will have another chance tomorrow.
A clear and chilly night is on the way tonight with lows falling back into the upper 30s and lower 40s. Some areas to the north and west could see a scattered light frost overnight. There could be some early morning fog on Sunday but otherwise we will see mostly sunny skies once again with just a few clouds mixing in during the afternoon. Daytime highs will reach the lower 70s with overnight lows down into the upper 40s and lower 50s.
A piece of moisture spinning along the Carolina coast will slide in our direction for Monday as high pressure slips off shore. This will allow for a few showers to develop Sunday night into Monday morning. We are not expecting much rain from this system though. We could even see a few light showers around on Tuesday before cooler and drier air moves in for late in the week.
