It was a beautiful weekend as our stretch of great weather rolled on! Unfortunately it looks like that stretch is about to come to an end as a more unsettled weather pattern takes hold. We do need the rain and it looks as though we are going to get it this week.
This afternoon will feature mostly cloudy skies with a bit of sunshine too from time to time. It will start to feel a bit more humid later today as well. Highs will reach into the middle and upper 70's.
With mostly cloudy skies and a warmer, southerly flow temperatures overnight will remain rather mild.
Clouds tomorrow morning may give way to a bit of sunshine however as a cold front approaches western Mass later tomorrow a few showers showers and will crop up. Tomorrow will feel a bit like summer as temperatures climb to near 80 and dew points creep well into the 60s.
An area of low pressure will ride along this front bringing us a soaking rain Tuesday night into Wednesday. A solid 1-3" of rain is likely. There may be some minor flooding in areas of poor drainage. It looks as the though the heaviest rain will line up with the morning commute.
