Monson Police arrest man who stole gun from home

MONSON, MA (WGGB/WSHM) -

Monson Police have arrested a man who stole a firearm from a home on Cote Road.

Police say they responded to a disturbance around 1:30 Sunday afternoon. 

"One of the individuals involved in the disturbance was reported to have fled the residence armed with a loaded handgun," said Stephen Kozloski, Chief of Police. 

The individual was located off T Peck Road, where police arrested him.

He is being charged with larceny of a firearm, possession of a firearm without a license and possession of ammunition without a permit.  

The handgun was also found.
