Patricia's remains bring mid-week rain and wind

Posted: Updated:

We'll see lots of sunshine this today with seasonable temperatures. Like yesterday it's a chilly start but temperatures will continue to climb fast and will reach into the middle and upper 50s this afternoon. With sunny skies and light winds it will be a pleasant late October day.

Some clouds move in overnight as the remains of Patricia head our way. Clouds thicken up tomorrow morning with rain developing in the afternoon. Rain will be heavy at times tomorrow evening and night. It will become windy and mild tomorrow night as temperatures hold steady or slowly rise. There will be a few embedded thunderstorms as well.  Most of us need the rain and we certainly are going to get it. We can expect a solid 1-3" across western Mass. There may be some minor street flooding and a few power outages are possible as winds become gusty!

Things will dry out for Thursday morning with just a few leftover showers. It will be windy and warm on Thursday with temperatures spiking into the lower 70s, before cooler air works in to close out the workweek.
