SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WGGB/WSHM) - A cloudy start with a few light showers around this morning. The good news is those showers do not last all day and a nice warm up is headed our way this week.
The clouds and light showers are part of a warm front that will slide to our north today. The threat for showers will last until early this afternoon but any showers are on the light side and are scattered. The breeze will pick up today and we could see some sunshine by later this afternoon. Highs today top out in the upper 50s to around 60.
Expect partly cloudy skies tonight with lows dropping back into the upper 30s to around 40. The first week of November is looking unseasonably mild and dry thanks to the jet stream lifting to the north and a ridge of high pressure parked off shore. Temperatures in the 60s early week will rise to near 70 by Wednesday and Thursday!
