SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WGGB/WSHM) - We have a chilly night on the way as the combination of clear skies and diminishing winds will allow temperatures to fall off quickly tonight. There is a gradual warming trend headed our way through the middle of the work week with a couple of chances for showers..
The breeze which was very active this afternoon will diminish tonight as high pressure moves off the coast. With clear skies and light winds temperatures drop off quickly and bottom out in the mid to upper 20s. It's a chilly start on Monday but with our winds out of the southwest milder air moves into the region and highs top out in the upper 50s.
There is a slight warming trend on the way for this week. While we are not looking at the 70s making a return we will see highs rising into the mid to upper 50s for the middle of the week. We could see a few showers around here on Tuesday as a storm system approaches from the south. Wednesday is looking dry but then another system could bring more rain to the region on Thursday.
