WESTFIELD, MA (WGGB/WSHM) -

In Westfield, one local family is remembering their vibrant and loving daughter Lisa Calabrese and with a lot of support from the community.

Lisa died six years ago losing her battle with an eating disorder. The walk called Lisa's light of hope strives to bring eating disorders out of the darkness raising awareness and educating the community about the disease.

"Our daughter suffered with an eating disorder for four years. Unfortunately, we lost her. They're some young women here today that are suffering from the same problem. And we're hoping that with like this, we can help them not go through what we went through," said Joe Calabrese from West Springfield.

Calabrese says he misses his daughter every single day.
