It will be cloudy and cool this afternoon with a few showers moving in later on. Things will start to get damp for the evening commute as moisture from the Mid-Atlantic pushes our way. Showers, pockets of drizzle and some periods of rain will continue overnight into tomorrow morning.
The bulk of the heavy rain will slide south and east of western Mass but we should manage to squeeze out up to 1/2" of rain. We need the rain so we'll take anything we can get.
Clouds and damp conditions will stick around through tomorrow morning followed by drier conditions in the afternoon. Veteran's Day Parades and Ceremonies will be damp and cool so be sure to bring the umbrella and rain gear. This system will depart for Thursday but very quickly another system will be on it's heals.
An area of low pressure will slide into Canada dragging it's cold front across western Mass on Thursday. This front will bring showers and a few downpours by late afternoon and into the evening. Behind the front will be brisk and chilly. Temperatures on Friday will still manage to reach into the 50s however by the weekend we may be stuck in the 40s. The weekend will have a chilly, March feel with chilly temps and a gusty breeze.
