It's gray but rather mild this afternoon with a few showers scattered about western Mass. Most of the rain will fall this evening into the overnight. (9pm - 3am)
We are on the mild side of this system so temperatures will climb to near 60 this evening while the rain comes down and the breeze picks up out of the south. We can expect 1-2" by the time things wind down, before tomorrow morning's commute. Although rain will be heavy at time we are not expecting any flooding, aside from some big puddles.
After some morning clouds tomorrow will be mostly sunny and breezy as colder air slowly drains in. Even still temperatures tomorrow will reach into the mid 50s. Overall tomorrow is looking rather nice. In fact, Saturday will be decent as well with seasonable temperatures and a fair amount of sunshine. A cold front with some energy will move through the area late Saturday night into Sunday morning with a few rain showers. This front will bring in the coldest weather of the season for Sunday and Monday. Temperatures on Monday will be stuck in the 30s in many spots.
The cold air doesn't last long though. Next week is looking pleasant and dry as temperatures bounce back for travel day Wednesday and Thanksgiving Day! Right now it's looking good for much of the northeast with sunny skies and temperatures in the 50s.
